Group therapy for individuals in Minnesota

You don’t have to go through it alone.

Therapy groups offer a space to be your true self with others who understand what you’re experiencing.

You’re ready to:

  • Connect with others who truly understand what you're going through

  • Share your experiences in a safe, supportive space

  • Gain new perspectives and tools to help you heal and grow

  • Learn how to navigate challenges with the support of a guided group process

  • Feel less alone and more empowered on your journey

You’re welcome, exactly how you are.

Group therapy can feel vulnerable and even a little intimidating, but I believe in the power of connection and shared experiences to foster healing and growth.

I strive to create a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly while gaining support, insight, and new tools to navigate your journey.

Be exactly who you are. Show up with your gallon of coffee, vent freely, or join in while your dog barks at the mail carrier (fair warning: I will ask to see the dog).

How group therapy

in Minnesota works:

You can heal, grow, and move forward while staying true to yourself.

We all have ideas about how life, healing, and relationships should work.

When reality doesn’t match those expectations, it can lead to frustration, hurt, and self-doubt. In group therapy, we’ll explore these expectations—what’s serving you, what’s open to change, and what might be holding you back.

You’re also bringing your own lived experiences into this space. The ways you think, feel, and react are shaped by your past, and some patterns may no longer serve you. Together, we’ll unpack these experiences with care, because your story matters—it’s real, valid, and deserves attention.

Through guided discussions, support, and evidence-based approaches, you’ll gain new insights, develop healthier coping strategies, and feel more empowered to move forward.

Each session is an opportunity to take something meaningful with you—whether it’s a fresh perspective, a new tool to try, or simply the reassurance that you’re not alone in this.

I’m looking forward to seeing you in group!

  • In individual therapy, you work one-on-one with a therapist to focus on your personal experiences and goals. Group therapy offers the added benefit of shared connection—you’ll hear from others facing similar challenges, gain insight from different perspectives, and receive support in a way that individual therapy doesn’t provide. Many people find that the group setting helps them feel less alone and more validated in their journey.

  • It’s completely normal to feel nervous at first! Many people worry about opening up, but most find that once they settle in, they feel supported and understood. You’re encouraged to share at your own comfort level—there’s no pressure to speak if you’d rather listen. Over time, you may find that the group becomes a safe and valuable space for your healing and growth.
